How can I contact you?

Information about the Czech Republic and our accommodations, you will find on our website. If you have any questions, you can use the contact form on the website. You can also reach us by phone (+ 31 646232372). It happens often, that our guests travel for the first time to the Czech Republic and have a lot of questions. Feel free to contact us with all your questions.

We go for the first time to the Czech Republic. Can you advise us?

You can contact us for any advice. Is a trip to the Giant Mountains suitable for our children? What about cycling and hiking? Should I take bicycles with me? Are there supermarkets? What can I not buy in the Czech Republic. You are mostly welcome with all your questions.

How can I make a reservation?

After you made your choice for one of our holiday houses, there are two ways to make a reservation. Via the booking form on the website or by phone at Els Groenewoud (+ 31 646232372). On the website in the booking calendar, you see if your choice is available. 

After receiving the application, you will receive the booking confirmation by email with the accompanying note. Reservations are final, upon receipt of the deposit (25% of the total rent amount).

Can I take a free option?

Of course you can, without obligation and free of charge, take an option on one of the holiday homes. This option expires after three days. For a different option period, you can contact us via the contact form on the website.

Can I make a booking request for the next years?

Our prices are fixed for the current and next year. This means that you make your reservation with the assurance of the listed rental price.

Can I cancel my booking?

Cancellations (complete or partly) must always be done in writing or by e-mail. Until 4 weeks before the rent period, the cancellation costs come to 25 % of the total rent amount.

Cancellation within 4 weeks before the rent period: the total rent amount will be indebted. We advise you to buy a cancellation insurance.

Do I need a travel and/or cancellation insurance?

Both insurances are not required, but recommended.

Can I rent an accommodation with another length of stay?

In our main seasons (winter and summer holiday period) we only accept bookings from Saturday 4 pm to Saturday 10 am.

Out of season, different travel dates might be possible. You can always ask about this.

What is included in the rent?

Electricity, gas, water, 2 hl firewood (winter), tourist tax, bed linen, towels and kitchen textiles. Use of the existing equipment such as dishwasser, washing and drying machine, heaters, infrared hot plate, microwave, TV, audio equipment.

In all houses a baby cot and high chair are available. Bed linen for the baby cot you must bring yourself. 

Cleaning fee (€ 60,--) and security deposit (€ 100,--) you pay upon arrival to the local manager.

Do I need to pay tourist tax?

We pay your tourist tax to the local government.

What about additional costs?

Upon arrival, you pay on receipt to the local manager € 160,- consisting of: € 60,- for the final cleaning and € 100,- deposit for damage or loss. This amount will be refunded upon departure if the key will be returned, the complete inventory is present and no damage has been caused. 

We do not charge an energy surcharge during  wintertime or note meter readings. 

The administration costs are € 10,- per booking.

How can I pay?

With the rental confirmation, you will receive an invoice with our bank account number. You need to pay 25 % of the total amount within 3 weeks after the booking. Only at that moment the booking is definitive. 

The total rent  amount must be remitted to the bank account as mentioned in the rent confirmation at the latest 6 weeks before the date of arrival. In case of booking within 6 weeks before the date of arrival, the total rent amount must be remitted immediately. At all times the total amount has to be paid before the date of arrival.

Do I receive a confirmation after the first payment?

Upon receipt of your deposit, you receive  a confirmation, so you know that the accommodation of your choice will be  available.

When will I receive the travel documents?

Upon receipt of your final payment, you will receive the confirmation with the route description to the accommodation and the telephone number of the local manager.

Where do I get the key of the accommodation?

One hour before your expected time of arrival, we ask you to call the local manager to make an appointment to meet each other. The local manager will accompany you in the house, provides you with the necessary information and will hand over the key.

What time is the accommodation available?

You are welcome from 4 pm on Saturday. We ask you to contact the local manager one hour before your expected time of arrival to make an appointment to meet each other.

Where do I find the route description to the accommodation?

Upon receipt of the final payment, you will receive the route description and the name and telephone number of the local manager.

Can I use the house with more than the number of persons agreed?

It is not allowed, without our written permission, to use the house with more than the number of persons agreed.

Do you expect something from me?

One hour before your expected time of arrival, we ask you to call the local manager to make an appointment to meet each other.

Is there a wireless LAN (Wifi) in the accommodation?

All houses have a Wi-Fi connection. This is free of charge.

Is there a baby cot or high chair available?

In every house both a baby cot and  high chair are available. This is free of charge.
For the baby cot you have to bring the necessary linen.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are only allowed in consultation with us and with our written permission. So please contact us.
Fee: € 15,- per week.

Do I have to clean the house?

Upon arrival the house has been cleaned spick and span. During your stay we expect that you take care of the cleaning. The end-cleaning will be done. Fee: € 60,- per stay. (payable directly to the local manager upon arrival).

In all ski centres you can rent  a modern, high-quality equipment. For both skis and ski boots but also for snowboards etc.
